CELLCOM was established in the year 2003, under the name of Iman Omar Establishment (IOE), at that time IOE was specialized in providing electrical services for big buildings/hotels in Al Madinah city.

In the year 2005 IOE shifted its interest towards GSM, and entered the field through electrical works subcontracts.

Believing in the big business incorporated with GSM, IOE changed its scope to cover GSM network services including site acquisition, line of sight, telecom & microwave services, in addition to civil works and tower erection.

In the beginning of the year 2007 IOE changed its name to CELLCOM to reflect its complete conversion to the cellular telephony field.

At the present CELLCOM has branches in Saudi Arabia and Jordan :
Two in Saudia :

• Tabuk branch: Tabuk city, Mahkama Main Street
